This pack is so stealth..
Looks like a simple pack (like a Jansport), but it's anything but simple.. it's beautifully constructed, the materials are amazing and oozing with quality.

A very high Standard
Wonderful pack -- the usual supremely high build quality from The Brown Buffalo. I enjoy the versatility of this pack; this is my first Brown Buffalo made from UltraGrid, which is a gorgeous fabric and makes the bag considerably lighter than what I'm used to from the Cordura bags. For me at least, the shoulder straps and back panel make it comfortable even when filled to a heavy weight, as well. This is not a bag with tons of internal organization laid out for you -- which is my preference, finally. Makes it non-prescriptive for how to organize items. I don't know if it replaces the Conceal Pack as my favorite carry, but in some ways it's more appropriate for my day to day civilian life -- with the front pocket access and the side (water bottle) pockets, along with the classic "book bag" look. Of course, the fabric makes it look much more high-end than any book bag I have ever carried.

All of the above have a better suspension system, bar none. This is the star off. And it’s a serious one. The suspension on the Standard Issue is just "ok".
Another element worthy of note is that while the 1050D Cordura sheen makes it a lower profile pack, it does feel a bit cheap vs proper mil-spec 500/1000D — can’t have it both ways.
All the rest, however, is in favour of the Standard Issue. Its organisation and overall setup is otherwise perfect.
Make a 500/1000D version of it in Burgundy and I’m in. Or MAS Grey. Or Black. Or Navy. Doug will get the point.
