I have no complaints and much praise for this sling+ bag. Not big enough to be called luggage but so much more than a purse! The quality is great. The strap swivels wonderfully and is made of sturdy hardware. There is no sign of scrrrrritchy Velcro which delights me. The interior is well laid out with more sturdy hardware, good lining in a bright shade that makes it easy to locate whatever gadget I need. Key/flashlight lanyard also nice. I keep thinking this is what I’ve been trying to make for myself for ages. Love my products.

Great bag

This is not my first Lochby purchase, and not likely to be my last. The quality of the materials and construction are spot on. The size is perfect for carrying my A5 journal and throwing in a small device such as a Kindle or Nook reader.

Best Bag I’ve Ever Owned.

I don’t say that lightly. This thing has become my everyday field bag. I work outdoors a lot, so I needed something that could take a beating, carry the essentials without becoming a bottomless pit, and still be comfortable enough to have on me all day. The Field Sling Plus nails it. The layout is genuinely useful, everything has a place, and I can get to what I need quickly without digging around. Best bit I don’t lose my truck keys anymore either as it has a key clip! It’s been dragged through fieldwork, road trips, coffee shops and general daily abuse and just keeps getting better. The materials feel properly durable rather than “outdoorsy” for the sake of it, and I love that it looks better a little scuffed and lived-in. I’ve owned a ridiculous number of bags over the years and this is the first one I’ve stopped looking to replace. That probably says it all.
