PURPOSE BUILT FOR RUCKING A TWO MILLION YEAR LEGACY
Rucking has been around for over two million years. Our bodies evolved to efficiently carry weight back to the tribe, high and tight on our backs. Two thousand years ago, Roman Legionnaires used rucking as a test to select their best soldiers, a practice that continues with today’s Spe...

Rucker 5. 0 plus 30# long ruck plate
Fantastic quality. Such a night and day difference than the cheap backpack I was using before. So comfortable, and stable. I've bought multiple sandbags and shoes from GoRuck and have always been impressed with the quality and durability. The Rucker significantly exceeded my expectations. The plate fits so snug and high in the pocket. Great stuff and well worth the money.

More lumbar padding feels great with the hip belt. Also moved up from a 20l to a 25l as I am 5’10” and need the ruck to ride a little lower for hip distribution.

Exactly What a Rucking Pack Should Be
I tried retrofitting several of my regular hiking backpacks with weight plates, but nothing ever felt quite right. The Rucker 5. 0 20L immediately showed me why a purpose-built rucking pack matters. The construction is incredibly solid, the dual plate sleeves hold the weight exactly where it belongs, and I really appreciate the hydration-bladder hose option. Everything about the pack feels thoughtfully designed and virtually indestructible. After several weighted hikes, it already feels like a piece of equipment I’ll be using for years. My advice is simple: if you’re going to ruck, stop trying to make another backpack do the job. Buy the Rucker, get a 20-lb plate, and go have fun. Five stars from me.
