I have a Rachio 3 that is great. I expanded my yard plantings into a forest area in my yard that had no sprinkler system. I purchased this Rachio hose timer to try and irrigate this area which was successful with a large tripod sprinkler. The area covers 2500 sf. It has also been great. Works with the Rachio app and allows me to water regularly. I was able to focus on planting and didn’t worry about watering.

Great device so far. Very easy set up. My concerns based on prior reviews have to do with longevity—that remains to be seen

Makes the hose accessible to me

I’m in a wheelchair and the hose valve makes watering the patio a normal everyday activity
