Great for everything
These are great for everything. I use the grid layout for habit trackers, goals setting, notes and sketches. The possibilities are endless with the grid layout. I have two of these in my Field Journal paired with a planner and one plain Journal. Love them all and they all play a unique role in my organization system.

The design sketch must have
I have this in my notebook and it's my "Design Dump" book that I use for gardening plots, home projects, anything where I need to design, measure or build something.

I converted to grid paper when I worked a project in a config environment working with engineers and I have never gone back
