Buy a different product for work

Bit holder did not retain well and now my glass breaker bit is gone. Also incredibly annoying for practical purposes to not have spring actuated pliers. When I'm working and I have something in my left hand I have to put it down to use both hands to open the pliers, EVERY TIME I NEED TO GRIP SOMETHING!!! This is the type of design blind spot that genuinely makes me think people are not testing these in real world applications. This tool feels more aesthetics oriented rather than being a true dependable workhorse which is what I always associated with the older style Leatherman products. I am part of the problem, I thought the green and blue colorway was cool. You know what is really cool????? THE RIGHT TOOL FOR THE JOB.

A perfect gift

I bought this Skeletool as a gift for my daughter for her 40th as she was attempting to hike the Presidental Traverse in the White Mountains of NH. She needed a reliable item that could help her in any situation and this filled the bill. She loved it and so will you.

Goldilocks of Multi-Tools

After carrying this for a few months, here is what stands out. Pros 👍 1. No Unnecessary Gadgets - No scissors, no saw, no file. Just the essentials. Means less bulk and nothing to break or get in the way. 2. Easy To Clean - Open frame design means dirt, sand, and pocket lint fall right out instead of getting trapped inside. 3. Good Pliers Reach - The needle-nose pliers are slender enough to get into tight spots where bulkier tools won't fit. 4. Comfy Grip - The handle sits well in your hand when turning screws. No awkward angles or hot spots after a few minutes of use. 5. Carabiner Doubles as Opener - The carabiner clips onto bags or belts and pulls double duty as a bottle opener. Saves space by combining two functions into one. 6. Solid Lockup - The blade opens smoothly with one hand and locks up tight. No wiggle or slop when cutting. Cons 👎 1. Pocket Clip Drag - The clip snags on the pocket. The Sidekick style pocket clip works better as it uses a rounded clip that slides much smoother. I might swap it out. . 2. Bit Selection - Comes with Phillips #1/#2 and Flat #1/#2. It would be better if one bit combined Phillips #1 and Flat #1, and the other offered T6 and T8 Torx.
