I think the ripspool is an awesome piece of gear! I've used them to temporarily and permanently repair my gear, packs and jackets. I like them so much I couldn't say how many I've bought or how many I have gifeted to friends. I have two in different contingency kits I never leave home without, and one on a shelf here at home.

Great. Item to add to any kit add some small hook and little weights prefect for hand fishing.
