Lost my WAVE, thought id try something different. I am missing the scissors and file. Getting used to a change after 15 years of the last tool. The opener and awl won't open all the way with tool closed, the hammer and hook block the end. Otherwise it's great so far

One of my favorite Leatherman multi-tools because it can be used while camping, traveling, vacations while staying in hotel rooms and to fix your car or truck if needed.

I bought this tool for myself and was excited for it given all the hype I’ve read online and the research I did on the product. My first disappointment was on the length of shipping. It took quite a while to receive it in the mail. Once I got it, my excitement disappeared after opening the package. The item itself was loose in its box, this seems to be a packaging/display issue, but the tool itself was covered in grease. So much so, that you couldn’t even touch it without getting it all over your hands. There were also visuals scratchs on the outter layer. Not what I was expecting when paying a higher price for what was thought to be a high end product. The tool itself works ok. I haven’t used it all that much yet. Hoping to put it try it out more now that summer has arrived.
