Creating a Standalone Mini

Standalone Minis are a new type of Shop Mini that operate independently of merchant shops and Shopify apps. Standalone Minis can:

• Access the entire Shop catalog through the Product Search API (see Shop Minis GraphQL Schema and useProductSearch hook)
• Query products across all merchants on Shop (see Fetching Data)
• Access user-specific features like favorited products and followed shops (see hooks useFavoritedProducts and useFollowedShops)
• Operate without requiring a linked Shopify app

This makes Standalone Minis ideal for building cross-merchant shopping experiences, discovery tools, or specialized product search interfaces.
