Nice deep rich flavor but still med-light

We really enjoyed this with making cold brew - it’s a nice rich flavor but still has an overall medium-light roast profile to it where it’s not too bright fruity.

Solid Choice!

My first supply of Merchant beans, I've used these in my espresso machine for a few weeks now. This coffee is easily dialed in and results in a balanced shot that is enjoyable. My wife has enjoyed these beans, as well. I'll try it again!

Disappointing Pulls: Bitter, Earthy, and Off the Mark

I had high hopes for the Merchant blend by Timeless Coffee, especially with the promised notes of caramel apples, chocolate, and smooth sweet fruit. I spent a good amount of time dialing this in for espresso, and my puck prep is meticulous. I finally got the extraction parameters perfect on my Profitec Go and Niche Zero, pulling exactly 38g in 30 seconds. Unfortunately, the resulting cup was a massive letdown. Instead of the sweet and smooth profile advertised, I am getting extremely bitter, earthy, and overly tart flavors. I am genuinely unsure if I received a bad, baked batch or if the tasting notes are just completely misrepresented. Given how well calibrated my setup is right now, this bean simply is not delivering what it promised. I definitely am not enjoying this one and would not recommend it for espresso.
