Hang System

Bought this to go with a Sawyer Squeeze and a 3L Vecto. The math is simple: a PA12 cleat on a yard of 1.8mm reflective cord, under 10g total, versus a trucker’s hitch I have to redo every time the bag drains and the line goes slack. The cleat wins. Adjusting hang height mid-fill is a one-handed pull, which matters when the branch you found is 6 inches too high. Rated around 45 lb, so a full 3L bag is not close to the limit. Only note: a yard is enough for most branches but not generous, so pick your tree accordingly.

Really happy with my hang system. It was easy to use and feels solid. Definitely a good product, especially considering the minimal weight

Ray, please change the name of your brand from Igneous to Ingenious. This was the missing piece to having the ideal UL gravity system for just 10g more than my normal water filtering setup. Current system is a Vecto 2L, Platypus Quickdraw, Platypus Connect Cap (threads directly to Igneous bottle), and then of course the Igneous 1L bottle. Adding the hang system on top means I can screw the whole setup together, drip free, and hang it from a tree or whatever else. No spills, no effort. Love it. Excited to see more ingenious igneous designs.
