X-Dome 2

Initial impressions - very good

Light, well manufactured, spacious. I'm sure I'll find something I can improve (I've already loosely joined all the corner loops so I can pitch fly/inner/ground all together), but this tent is very very good. I bought this tent for bikepacking and I had shortlisted two tents - neither were the Durston - then I saw a very good and wholly independent review of the X-Dome and added it to the list. I've recently taken to purchasing from smaller companies with genuine customer service vs. faceless corporations that seem unable to help when things go wrong. When I started doing my research on the Durston it was clear that (a) it's a great tent - probably the best in this space - and (b) Dan stands by his products 100% - that's what sealed the deal for me. Arrived from BC quicker than an order I placed with a shop 50k down the road the same day...

70 km in UKK National Park in Finland

The tent was very easy to set up. We experienced quite chilly weather (+4 C) as well as light rain. Then again, the Sun didn't set since it is Midsummer and maybe the lack of darkness could have bothered some users (not us). Great tent for two Persons. Thank you!

My beloved tent

So far I love my X-Dome 2. Its spacious , easy to set up, well designed, well crafted. I appreciate the quality and attention you gave to details. Merci Dan for putting all your heart and experience in what you do!
