APEX ADJUSTABLE BENCH

I’m loving the Apex adjustable bench. It has been a great addition to my home gym. The many adjustable positions makes the bench extremely versatile and it is SOLID. You can truly feel the durability of this piece of equipment. The 17” bench height is great as I can easily get the needed leg drive for pressing and I don’t feel like I’m trying to reach for the floor for stability. The bench itself is a little heavy, but the wheels make it easy to maneuver and the fact that it stores vertically gives me enough space to keep it to the side when not using it and have enough room to exercise and walk around it. I also have the leg trainer, and similar to the bench the materials are very durable. It takes a little effort to attach it to the bench, but once it’s in, it feels very secure while in use. It’s a little unwieldy removing it from the bench which is the only draw back. It takes some effort to remove the connection point while also supporting the bench because the bench has to stay at an upward angle, but it isn’t locked in that position, so either bench comes down hard or you have to support the bench while also trying to pull the leg trainer away with one arm. I’m sure I’ll get used to the set up and break down though with practice, and despite this one difficulty I’m still more than satisfied with my purchase. As a sleep deprived father of a 5 month old who also happens to be a physical therapist, this bench is great! The packaging is super organized and well thought out for assembly. The bench has absolutely no wobble when using it for heavy lifting, which is very important to prevent injury. The ladder system is smooth and quiet (helpful when the baby is napping). I would highly recommend this bench for anyone looking for a solid foundation for their home gym. This bench would also be great for any physical therapy office since it is highly adjustable and can be used for all sorts of rehab exercises with all the attachments available. Now back to my na.. I mean work out!

The bench feels really solid, was easy to put together and move around. I really like all the angle adjustments to get into just the right position. The pad is nice and firm and has just the right amount of grip to keep me in position. Very happy with all the thought that went into it.
