Highly recommend

I usually end up wearing athletic shoes on hikes because most barefoot shoes don't offer soles capable of handling the desert terrain in the Southwest. I splurged on the Mudee L and wish I had done it sooner. It took a bit to get the lacing where it didn't put pressure on the top of my foot but once I got that figured out, these are the best. Provides ankle support, comfort and the soles handled the cactus spine I inadvertently stepped on. These are now my go to shoe on my daily hikes

I wanted these to work so badly!!!

I bought a pair of the Mudee L boots in size 45 and 46. These would be my IDEAL boots if either size fit. I was crestfallen when the 45 was too short and the 46 was too large. I loved the comfort and look of the boot, the sizing just seemed off. I tried all configurations (original insole in/ out, 6mm Ortholite in) in attempts to make it work, but it sadly didn’t.
