Surprisingly grippy and solid pair of barefoot sandals for novice runner

I'm a novice runner having ran past 5k and 8k in Maryland. I've been strictly only in barefoot footwear for two years and these pairs of shammas withstood the test of some runs on concrete, dirt and grass terrain and my daily walk of life and life. Solidly made and the craftsmanship is top notch and really well made that you can tell.
