They arrived today and so far I like them a lot more than my Xero sandals they don’t make any slapping noises when I walk and they don’t have those floppy plastic bits back by the ankles and they are able to be tight on the feet get also be comfortable. They adjust pretty easily once you figure it out. I will 100% be trying the Numa models to see if like like the stretchy vs the seatbelt like strips used. I got the 9mm just incase I wanna run in them but just for it to be different I’ll prob go lower stack on my next pair.

Superb Fit, Comfortable Sandals

The Shamma Elite Warriors are my favorite sandal of all time possibly; they have become my favorite sandal for multi-purpose and around-town use. I'm a runnner, and had been searching for a sandal which would allow my arches to work naturally whilst walking and would not cramp my toes together. This sandal footbed fits my feet pretty much to a T--the toe box flares out more than "normal" sandals in both directions, the pinky toe and the big toe, so you have about 4.5" across the toe box for optimal foot functionality without being too big or floppy in the slightest. In fact with the extra room compared to "normal" sandals my feet have begun to spread to use the whole footbed. Their footbed is even better than Vivobarefoot's. I plan to get a pair of Shammas for running, too. Sizing note: I found their Size Calculator to be accurate, and suggest using their Size Calculator not just the size chart. I wear a size 9.5 in Adidas and Asics (until they wear out and I replace them with "barefoot" style shoes), and had to size up to 10.5 here, which fit marvelously. Customer Service was excellent when I made a mistake on my order and had to request an exchange. Emily was very patient and understanding, and helped me swap out items right away at no extra charge even though it was my error. Shamma also offers a veg-tanned leather footbed in their Legend series, which I love because it's one of the most natural and chemical-free leathers you can put on your feet, and they form to your feet. Natural and made in America are big deals to me, and Shamma hits these marks. I plan to be a returning customer to Shamma.

They are my go to for running

I love running in these sandals. I have other brands of minimalist sandals (that I like), but I love the way I can lock down the heal strap, and I love the fact that the footbed molds to my feet. I was a little worried about getting the Warrior because of the thin sole, but I'm glad I did. My primary surface is pavement, so we'll see how fast I wear through them, but I can see them being very good on trails as the traction is very good.
