Comfortable, but rubbing between toes bleeding and soles too thin for track
These sandals are comfortable and will enhance your feet, but the rubbing of the strap between the big toe and the next one has caused a little bleeding each day, and I have to wear a band aid. Great for running on trail in the woods, but NOT for track, as there is hardly any shock absorption, even with the medium-grade soles. Overall, I was expecting something better for the price.

Great Sandals
Great sandals. The elite lacing system really locks your foot onto the sandal without being bulky. I wear barefoot shoes and opted for the 9mm sole. It still gives good ground feel while still protecting your foot over jagged and uneven terrain. Overall I am very happy with them.

Its a solid shoe but needs some work.
I have worn this shoe for a couple weeks now. My first impressions are pretty good: The shoe is very thin, the stubs holding the straps to the rubber cannot be felt by the foot, the adjustable straps have sufficient degrees of freedom to fit my feet comfortably. The one issue I have is that my toes are too close to the front of the shoe. My good running friend also tried them on and had the same issue. While my big toe doesn't typically "hang" off the front, I am perpetually scared that it will fall off the leather and into the asphalt. Furthermore, the price to volume of material on these shoes is kind of extreme. I get that they are handmade, and I appreciate that, but perhaps there should be more be more variability in sizing options. If they are handmade and the design is no more flexible than pumping them out on an assembly line, then the only thing you are selling me is good conscious - and it's costing me a pretty penny.
