Canvas High (Barefoot)

The shoe I've been waiting for... and it delivers

The Canvas High is the barefoot shoe I've been waiting for! The design and quality, especially at this price, is just so good... The balance between barefoot-features and classic looks is excellent. Outsole stitching tells me these are going to last and they've held up extremely well so far. I've been wearing these mostly as a daily shoe, but they're solid for training, as well. If I had to nitpick, the canvas above the toe box can look a little awkward at times since it's unstructured, but I don't know that there's much way around this without messing with toe freedom! I do also prefer the big toe side to be a little straighter and squared off, though I know this is a fine line between toe alignment and aesthetics. I have a higher arch, low volume foot that's widest at the ball of the foot and the toes. I feel like this model is a nice medium volume that will work for folks both on the lower/higher end.  A thin insole helps fill the space if I want that. The size chart is about spot on for me, use it! My feet are about 28.7 cm and I go with the Men's 12.5. Thanks Evan and co. for such great execution of a classic canvas shoe silhouette.
