Not just great coffee, but FABULOUS customer service

At first I was hesitant to write a review for Dark Matter because I felt I wasn't getting the deep taste I thought it should have, so I went on their chat to get some advice. Well, I got an honest-to-god human being, not some AI chatbot that would just give me vague answers until I eventually gave up. The person helping me realized that I probably bought the wrong type of grind for what I was using (re-usable K cup pods) and suggested using an espresso grind. They sent me the correct grind, PLUS some extras to try! They also tried to give me a refund for my first order (even though it was totally my mistake). The new grind totally gave me what I was looking for in taste and I used my original order in my French press and it is awesome. Dark Matter has a wonderful deep flavor without the bitterness I expect in a dark roast. Thanks so much Superlost! I prefer to buy from small businesses and you have created a loyal customer. Not Burnt!

Enjoyable dark roast from someone who mostly drinks light roasts. This doesn't just taste and smell like burnt coffee. It has character. Nice take on a classic cup of coffee.
