I bought all three available mods for my pit boss Savannah , I installed these as I assembled my grill so I’ve never cooked with out them so I can say how it performed with out them but…. With them it’s amazing it holds temp with zero fluctuating aside from opening the lid .. first cook smoked strip steaks at 180 for 2hrs before searing them , stayed at 180 all 2 hours never budged . Second cook baby back at 250 for just under 5 hrs again didn’t budge, I figured at a longer cook I’d get some dips and spikes that’s why I chose to settle at 250 to allow for 25 degrees either way to stay with in my temp range i wanted if it did fluctuate.

Works like a champ. Definitely improved overall heat distribution almost completely eliminating hot areas and greatly reduced ash in the cooking area
