Simple and accurate. Large numbers that rotate to stay legible are nice for those of us who need reading glasses. Folding probe is simple protection. Well thought out.

The Holy Grail of food thermometry

I was skeptical about the cost to upgrade our staff to the Thermapen ONE, but I was wrong. These things are awesome. Precise and so FAST. Employer bought me my first one, but I just went out of pocket for the Star Spangled one for home/personal use. Highly recommend!

Very good thermometer

Clearly a very good thermometer. It’s easily superior to those I’ve been using over the decades. One character it exhibits, inexplicably, is the readout screen suddenly blanking out. I’m using it frequently enough, and it happens infrequently, and it’s so accurate and convenient, that I’m ignoring that.
