Works Great

I love how fast it reads and how accurate it is. Reading in 10s of a degree slowed it down, and it was a little hard to find the dip switches to change it. I also like the glow-in-the-dark cover. The magnet is on the bottom, so it sticks out, I just mount it upside down.

New Thermapen

After too many years to remember, my original Thermapen finally gave way, it just killed the batteries every few days. I ordered a new one and yes it works fine. My only issue was that once I put the Silicone boot on it that I had on the old one, the new one quit working. After several head scratching tries to figure it out, I discovered that If I removed the magnet from the boot away from the battery the Thermapen worked just fine, must be an issue with the magnet. Apparently it must be a way to get you to buy a new silicone boot.
