Microplane Spice Mill

Surprised how smooth and easy grinder works. Nice size. Plan to buy several.

Bought this to use with our specialty peppercorns and spices since it is easy to swap out the contents and wash between spices. We are 2 1/2 - 3 weeks in to owning it and it is filling that need perfectly. If you were looking to use this as an everyday grinder you will be frustrated because this does not have a smooth grinding motion you think of in a pepper mill and will skip or "jump" occasionally on turns. If you remember that this is a micro planer that is protecting your fingers and providing you with on-demand specialty spices, this is perfect.

So easy and quick to use! I got it to grind my holiday spices: allspice, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, etc. I have an electric spice grinder but it doesn’t really work in small quantities. I typically only need a teaspoon or less at a time. This allows me to buy whole spices that will last longer and only grind what I need for each recipe.
