Shade Slick

A hint of color, a lot of moisturization

I got the Shade Slick in the color Les Deux (in The Gelees). I was worried it was going to be too bright of a pink for me, but I was pleasantly surprised that it just gives a nice pale pink gloss to my lips. My daughter also tried it, and it looks a little different on her lips, but still looks nice. I believe it works with the pH in your body and adapts to each individual. It is very hydrating and does not leave your lips feeling sticky or tacky. I also have this in the color Mapleton, and from The Classics I have Sangria. The Gelees are my favorites, but The Classics are nice too if you want a more saturated color. Whichever type or color you pick, you can't go wrong.

It's a keeper

I love the color and astethic. The formula is so nice. . . but I would like to see it have a little more staying power. Possibly a more occlusive agent added. But I'm not at all disappointed. I use it in my routine with the MERIT Signature Lip pencil. Merit has become my essential, go to brand.

Part of a lips “trifecta”…

Delicious… and very moisturizing… I love the “oil” shine; it’s great! Combine it with the creamy lipstick… and the lipliner… a combo of winners. A trifecta… if you will!
