Organic Apricots

Unfortunately my first order shipment never arrived and by the time they were able to get to my Customer Service inquiry, the apricots were sold. The weather had impacted their crop and they did not produce as many as they usually do. I hope I have another opportunity to try to get these again next year. I bet they are delicious.

A special treat

I returned to our home in Michigan at the end of April happy to be back in cooler weather after six months in Mexico, where temperatures were in the 90s and humidity was right behind. The rainy reason was on its way, and I was glad to escape till November, when cool starts turning to cold and rainy weather here. But if I would not miss the westher on Mexico’s Pacific Cosst, I would miss the apricots. All winter, I picked up a few apricots at my weekly trip to our favorite produce store. Back in Michigan, though, I searched for them to no avail. Then I wondered if they were available by mail order. That led me to Frog Hollow. And the next eeek, my shipment arrived: two pounds in excellent condition fresh from the tree. Sweet and tart, they make for wonderful snacks. Yes, an extravagance, but well worth it.
