Very warm
I've only used it once on a frosty night at 11k. It fits well and is too warm above freezing temps

Versatile Hood
I prefer a hoodless sleeping bag for its seasonal versatility. When winter backpacking in the snow, I use this hood with a thin balaclava underneath and I stay warm. The hood stayed in place without needing to use the elastic cords. I plan to use the hood on summer backpacking trips for those high altitude cold nights.

Hole in the right spot
This is my fourth balaclava. I have these from Goose feet, Timmermade, and MLD. This is the best for my large head (I did get the large). The opening for the face is perfectly located, not too far down like some. This is big enough to not compress the insulation. Only complaint is that it doesn't have a drawstring around the face. So I took out the soldering iron, hot cut a small hole in the edge binding, and threaded around a smooth piece of line. It only needs a slight bit of compression to form a really good seal on the face now.
