Although the case is leather it is very hard. I find it difficult to remove the case without bending the phone, because the case is rigid. The Step-up ring is essential for ND Filters, makes changing filters easier. I don’t think you should have to buy a step-up ring when you buy 3 Filters you should get one free. My opinion only. I have to thank Sanmarc for the free case they sent when I ordered the wrong one.

You should specify that Step-Up Ring - Filter Case Mount sizes are 40.6mm for filter's mount and 17mm for Step-Up Ring on the case. Besides, your 40.6mn doesn't match with any filter, the closest filter size is 40.5mm Adjusting to 40.5mm filter mount is highly recommended! Thank you!
