Snap Grip

This is a reorder because I literally used this until the one of the hinges on the back broke! But the hinge broke after less than a year and at that point the grip was unuseable and and unfixable, and on this repurchase it looks like they changed the design in a way that isn’t visible or clarified on the website, and makes the magnets significantly less strong - it no longer snaps easily in place on the snap stand and the car snap stand and the wall mounts I have. The mounts from Ohsnap! The grip isn’t compatible with their own brand of mounts!!! I can get it to stick but it takes some fiddling, and when I’m driving, my phone falls off the car mount because the magnets don’t properly connect. I would hope they tweaked the design of all the mounts they sell, but I can’t afford to replace everything. EXTREMELY disappointing because the main thing I loved about the grip was how well it worked with all the mounts.

I really like the design and functionality of the product. A huge positive swap from my pop socket. I am just a little disappointed that the printed pattern is already chipping/flaking off. I thought the print was super cute and gives a little extra personalized touch. I would definitely recommend the snap grip to others. I even plan on buying another grip myself, mostly because of the pattern flaking off leaving me with a plain black grip (i just prefer patterns/designs over solid colors) I would rate a 4 for the product itself but gave a 3 for the pattern flaking. I still think the MerMom pattern is super cute and would order again if the print were more durable.

Magnet is really strong. Color matches my case very well. High quality product and happy with my purchase.
