Hex rainfly 30D Silnylon

Purchased this rainfly with my hammock as an add on to the Asymmetrical fly that came with it. The hex fly is huge and makes a nice little base camp when necessary. With a little patience and finagling I managed to get both the hex rain fly and hammock into a set of snake skins. It’s a little bulky but it works. This fly gives a great second option to the asym fly and works great as a stand alone item. It’s big and can catch big wind. In central Florida soil I’m having to stake and tie it down. Long stakes help. Quality product.

Excellent coverage

I love this tarp. Light and great coverage for my ultralight backpacker hammock.

Nice but causes problems

I got the full sized rain fly because I hate getting wet and thought it would be better than the half sized one. It will not pack up in the snakeskin, it’s too large. I was disappointed by that. I had to get 2 stuff sacks, one for the rain fly and one for the hammock. Also part of my insulation system ripped the second time I used the hammock
