Ground sheet, tent, trekking poles
So yes, I purchased the ground sheet for my tent. Performed very well and the convenience of having it attached to the tent when deployed from the stuff sack was awesome! I just used it for 16 days through Shenandoah NP, 160 miles from Waynesboro VA to Harper’s Ferry on the AT. Tent and Ground sheet were great! I previously did 115 miles on AT through the Great Smoky Mountains and was very happy with the tent but very frustrated with my ground sheet choice at the time. ( winter plastic window insulation plastic sheet). Your Ground barrier was game changer. Now for the down side of my comments. When I purchased my Tent I also purchased Trekking poles. They did their job through the Smoky Mountains but boy they did not like the Terrain in Shenandoah. One pole had the adhesive on the height adjustment clasp fail and fall from its placement. That same pole snapped in two on the section with the length increments. The other pole on the second to the last day of my Shenandoah hike lost the tip off the very end of the pole. Thankfully my 10 year old granddaughter was with me and she lent me one of her poles so we could continue the hike and I could still make the tent function. My broken pole slid together when we removed the broken section and was still long enough for her to hike with as she is just 10. I think it was a day later that the adhesive failed on the clasp and she couldn’t use that pole and was reduced to one pole for the remaining days of the hike. That was ok as she was used to using only 1 pole and had just graduated to the use of two. Bottom line is yes, we had equipment failures, we were resourceful and overcame the challenges and had a great hike. I do however feel that these pole failures are unacceptable, 200 miles of wear on that equipment should certainly be considered on the low end of life expectancy I would think. I request a replacement set of poles, accepting that things happen and maybe it was a bad day at the factory when these were produced. Please respond with what you feel is fair and let me know where to submit pictures of the failed poles. Thank you, Keith Davis.

Best Service - Thank you Dan
I made an oversee order directly to Durston. Everything went well, tracking and custom super easy and clear. Unfortunately I received not the right Groundsheet and Durston replaced it super fast and without any extra costs. That’s a great service — thx
