great EDC object
I like this little compass. for a small plastic thing, the action of the compass is smooth and it rotates freely within 10 degrees of level. some wrist compasses, annoyingly, need to be perfectly level or they fetch up. the cardinal points are supposed to glow, but i found them too weak to really be useful. but i don't travel after dark (without a headlamp), so i just forget about that alleged feature. it is still a deal without. i wear it on the back of a baseball/trucker cap, on the adjustment strap. that way I always have it, it's out of the way and protected.
