I am in love with my new boots. They are the best ones yet. This is my third pair. My first pair I bought second hand. They lasted me a few years. The second pair I bought new. I wore them all day, everyday from the first snowfall in September to the Spring thaw at the end of May for 5 or 6 years. Thank you for making such amazing boots. Steger Mukluks are the best boots on the planet.

Two warm feet in Idaho

I live at 6500 ft in Idaho and we have winter weather that can last 5 months. I wear Steiger mukluks almost half the year and have for years. I love their comfort, warmth and durability. They get more comfortable the more you wear them. Great quality product. Especially valuable for backcountry ski trips and other winter camping. Many times I have been winter camping in Yellowstone and I’ve got the only comfortable feet around camp. On another note, lately I’m very proud that Minnesota is part of our country. I finally replaced a pair of Mukluks that I bought in 2009. I had worn them to death. This new pair seems to have a slightly improved design from my original pair. The fit at the ankle is a bit loosened up to make pulling them on and off easier. The tread on the bottom is deeper and beefier. The contour insole does wonders for comfort and putting more space between my foot and the cold ground. They’re warm as ever! Thanks for making incredible quality products. $250 over 15 years is $17 bucks per year for the warmest boots out there. Heck yeah! There is camaraderie pointing at someone else’s Steger’s and sharing a nod of approval. The ties are stylish and unique. The moose hide is soft, thick and pliable. I have a women’s size 10 with very wide foot (4E). The mens size 8 Wide is perfect for me. Toe box is flexible and breaks in well without prolonged discomfort on my part. Only felt a little tiny bit tight on the first 2 wears around the house with 2 pairs of thick socks on. Thank you Steger!
