Compression Socks

I absolutely love my Hollow Alpaca Compression socks! I work 12 hour days in steel toe boots with metguards on concrete floors and my feet have never felt better. If these socks hold up through a few wash cycles, I'll be purchasing more in the near future. They are a little pricey, even with the "buy 2 pairs get 2 free" but you can't put a price on all day comfort!

Exceeded my expectations. Super comfortable, compression is comfortable and working well to control my edema. I prefer these over the Copper Fit socks I had been using. One wish would be a lower price , however, given the quality that might be difficult.

They do seem cooler to wear than the ones I had been wearing made of synthetic matetial, but a little more challenging to get on, although getting easier. Although “wide”, they still leave a mark just below my knee, but I don’t feel the tightness and the mark isn’t as pronounced as with my other “wide” compression socks. The real test will be wearing them in the summer heat, especially on vacation when doing a lot of walking. Wish Hollow offered “open foot” compression socks since I have to wear metatarsal sleeves & I prefer my diabetic socks “wearing out” inside my shoes rather than my compression socks. The biggest “negative” is the seam along the tips of the toes where the “dart” ends. The fabric is different in that area (and the heel), and it is very stiff along that seam/dart, particularly at the very tip, so it doesn’t fit smoothly or flat against toes. Im getting used to the feeling and hopefully with repeated washings, that area will soften. (Same review for gray socks)
