Better than I expected

This was my first time making calamari, and my expectations were not that high. But I'll tell you what, it came out better than what I've gotten in most restaurants. I did an outstanding job, even if I do say so myself. I used the recipe sizzlefish gave me, and it came out perfect. As soon as I finished the first batch, about a third of the package, I immediately cooked another one. Instead of it being my appetizer, it was my whole meal.

Better Than The Grocery Store

I actually did a side by side and the texture of this calamari is way better than what I can pick up at Whole Foods. This is going to be my go to for calamari on hand, which is a perfect appetizer for a crowd. Fries up light and crispy and delicious.
