Very Impressed with Salcombe

Here is my foot size: 10 7/8 length, 4 inch width (27,6 cm long and 10,3 cm wide) I ordered the Salcombe in the EU 43 with the help of the Freet Customer Service. I love these sandals so much I ordered a second pair. They are comfortable and beautifully made and look good on me. Thank-you Freet. I hope you continue to make these sandals.

Excellent barefoot Birk substitute

The Salcombe has a great design, wonderful wide width and just enough cushion for walking on concrete. My only complaint is the sandals aren't exactly symmetrical to each so one strap/set of holes is slightly off from the other one. This also leaves an odd gap around my ankle and I'm not able to get one of them as secure/close to my foot as I'd like. I'm hoping that once the leather loosens and relaxes over time I can adjust them but for now I have to have the hole settings different for each shoe. Definitely not a deal breaker, just a minor annoyance. I would definitely buy another pair when these wear out.

I love these sandals! My feet are narrow with a high arch. I ordered my normal size but because these are roomy, they were too wide though perfect length. I put an extra hole in both the heel and toe buckles and they are perfect. Just took them on a trip and walked most of a day in them and I almost forgot I was wearing shoes.
