Beagle Wool Crusher Hat

It’s what I wanted I hope. I’ll use it for elk hunting this fall. I’m especially interested in how it’ll keep my head dry during rain & warm during rain and snow.

Big head? Go flapless. Either are a great hat.

I have bought one of these with the earflaps and one of these without the ear flaps.I have a head in excess of the prescribed size range. The material the ear flap is made does not stretch as well as the wool does, so I recommend ear flapless for my big-domed cohorts. Otherwise, great hat. I have talked to JWM about a custom size hat, they said they can accommodate and it just takes a little extra coordination and measurement, but I would assume its going to cost a little more. I will provide another review if I feel I need to go that route.

Finally found one

I had one of these hats years ago and left it on the roof of my truck in the woods. Never found it. You have no idea how happy I was to find out these are still made when I was checking out wool clothing online.
