Sidekick End Grain Cutting Board

A hard to find gem

We are so pleased to be elevating our food experience in our kitchen with this new 'end grain' cutting board. We have slowly been replacing older, worn or unhealthy type cooking vessels and tools with better quality choices and feel our current understanding of wood made cutting boards is a leap in the right direction. As with all things that are special it appears there will be a bit of a learning curve here to 'maintain' this special piece (oiling) but I look forward to this as part of the process and because it is so beautifully constructed I think the process will be enjoyable. So happy to know there are still creative artisans out in the world making quality items for consumers -- AND actually being a USA product is nothing short of wonderful as well. End grain walnut cutting board - Butcher

Love the cutting board. I’ve always been partial to the look of black walnut. It’s a piece of art on my counter. The Butcher is big enough. Would have liked the Carolina, but wasn’t sure I wanted to lose that much counter space. I got the feet and it is super stable on the counter and doesn’t slip at all. As a plus, with the feet, I can store it flat where it is normally used and don’t have to store it on edge. That wasn’t obvious on the website, but it was listed as ok in the literature that came with the cutting board. I like it so much I bought another one as a gift for my brother-in-law.
