Easy to manage

The 8 mm tree tether is extremely light and compact. The Cornell hitch eliminated the need for a ropeman ascender. The hitch is easy to tend up and down while climbing or positioning in the tree. This set up is extremely quiet due to the fact that there is no carabiner rattling inside of the ascender. In the event of a fall, the Prusek will not damage the tether by digging its teeth into the rope core like a mechanical ascender could possibly.

The 8mm tree tether fits well in my SYS hauler and I hardly notice it while climbing up. Would recommend to anyone who asked!

No Ascenders

Absolutely love the pack ability of these ropes. I’ve always used king ducks, but these new knot makes this a single handed operation without ascenders. Absolutely love them!
