The C3 micros are a 100% upgrade from standard cam buckles and in my opinion rival am steel for securing sticks and stands to trees. They are ultralight and are able to adjust a lot faster, a lot lighter and a lot quieter than using the standard cam buckles. I like straps over Amsteel as my preference due to the straps. Do not roll on trees, especially ones that have hard bark or smooth bark. I’ve ordered three sets of these, and I am in love with the design and performance and ease of use, especially in cold weather.
