Probe Mix-Up

I ordered a 2nd probe for meet do my husband could keep up with my meet and his. I eat smaller and often thinner cuts. We used the wrong probes and the meet got way over cooked before reaching medium rare temperatures. $48 worth of steak was ruined. We will read more on this or call customer service to see how to do better.

Very nice! The unit and included probes are accurate! It’s so nice to know the actual temp in the oven/grill and of the food being cooked.

This is the thermapen for the oven. Reliable air and cook temps, without having to open the door to check. If you care about precision, this is a good supplement for baking, roasting, reverse sear, anything oven.
