Huge step up from Pit Boss
I had the pit boss pro vertical cabinet smoker for three years. It served me well for over 100 cooks but all of the small problems mounted up overtime and I knew I needed a change. The flagship 1600 has definitely replaced the pit boss at my house. The build feels 10x more solid. The temperature control is much more reliable. And it feels more rugged and durable all around. I’m less than 10 cooks in, but I’ve already noticed differences in level of smokiness and bark. And the probes match my pen thermometer precisely. Big fan.

Best grill I have ever owned!
I have owned several pellet grills throughout the years, but the quality of a Recteq is just different. The Flagship 1600 is a Beast of a grill. Love the slide out rack feature!

I love the quality of this 1600 Flagship, I was able to assemble my grill within couple of hours by my self . I read that some customers had problems connecting to the WIFI , however I followed the instructions provided and got connected to the WIFI within two minutes . Did my burn in thereafter and by the end of the week I had my grill going with eight slabs of baby back ribs and some leg quarters on the grill. I should have purchased this grill much sooner.
