Missing piece in bundle
We love our Recteq grill. It’s heavy and well made. It is wonderful to cook on. All the pieces in the bundle are terrific too. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is our bundle was missing the mesh cooking mat. I contacted the company via their customer service and received a reply that they received my support request. However it has been several days and no one has contacted me to address this issue.

Backyard Beast 1200
I have used the Backyard Beast 1200 a few times now and am very happy with my purchase. I recently cooked 2 pork shoulders and temp held steady at 250 for the entire 9 hour cook. So far so good!

Love it
Coming from a smaller Traeger (that did many years of cooks) this BYB is overwhelmingly a much better unit. The ability for it to hold the temperature to the exact setting is amazing! You will not be disappointed in any type of unit the have I feel. I called the customer service line before I actually ordered and asked numerous questions and they answered everything with no hesitation at all. That spoke volumes with me.
