Decaf Assam

The flavor without the jitters!

There are times that having caffeine is just not the best idea...late in the afternoon or perhaps after too many cups containing caffeine. This black tea is lovely, and I don't notice a difference in flavor or miss the caffeine!

A perfect cuppa for breakfast

​Like a lot of old codgers, my body will no longer tolerate caffeine, so I am sadly left with decaffeinated and herbal teas, but this decaf Assam is still malty and delicious with a splash of milk, which is the way I like it. I toss in a couple of heaping teaspoons into my teacup strainer and allow it to brew for about five minutes. For me, that is just perfect. M. T. Philipps, author of ‘Keeping Calm’
