The Source Jacket is an insulated puffy specifically made for the whitetail hunter. But unlike traditional compressible jackets, this piece is both durable and silent. It is ready to shrug off brambles on the way to your stand, and it won't...

Im 5' 11" and weigh 185 pounds with a medium build. I wore this jacket in Virginia during early bow season and it performed well. Its light weight and packable going to and from the stand. The safety harnesses pass through is a great feature as well as the sleeve thumb holes. The zippered chest pocket was useful for stowing my cell phone, range finder or can call. The material is very quiet in the stand and surprisingly warm with temps in the 30s and even down to the 20s with additional layers underneath. It even performed well in moderate winds keeping out the chill. The only down side is the sleeves are too tight and makes layering uncomfortable. Small, tight sleeves seems to be an unwanted trend with nearly all major hunting clothing manufacturers. We don't want baggy, over sized sleeves either; but a happy medium would be welcomed. I also wore this jacket working my trapline in NC from January to February. It held up to the abuse with only a few threads pulled from the briars and sticks. But the zipper seems to not want to zip up for the first three inches or so but zips up fine after that. I usually wore it over a sweat shirt and I was plenty warm in temps down to the 20s. Over all its a great light weight jacket for hunting, trapping, camping or other outdoor activities.

Just wore for the first time really like the way it feels and by how quiet it is waiting to see how long it holds up feels like it could easily be torn or stitches come loose. Hopefully it holds up because I love it, but the real test is when it’s used.

Great jacket, well made. Prefect fir midwest whitetail hunting.
