5 stars because they effectively accomplish design goals (commanders intent). Construction (fabric/seams/hardware-connectors) is robust. Well thought out. Adds two side panels to chest rig L/R allowing exterior attachment of: IFAK, Mags, Torn, GPS etc. I have a FHF chest rig with “wings” in the field and subject to being dragged, pulled on, tossed-thrown etc. This rig extension kit has withstood what would be expected from sturdy LBE, Plate Carriers, Ruck. I would refrain from using the chest-rig w/wing extensions (donned) as a “weigh bearing” system but who would….not designed for that purpose. Great add-on to chest rig. Would not purchase FHF Chest rig without the extension wings.
