Great idea, could use some further refining

Took this on my recent sheep hunt and used it daily for glassing. This individual component worked without failures, however the complete tripod package was very wobbly in the lightest of breezes making it very hard to judge rams accurately. Also, with an angle spotter I had difficulty getting the overall setup low enough to be comfortable when sitting and glassing. Some improvement suggestions: 1. Offer a 2-3” shorter version for those of us running angled spotters 2. Design a secondary support to clip from the third leg to the trekking poles further down to increase stability in windy conditions

Great answer to heavy tripods.

Using the third leg, Quick Clip and ultra light pan head saves me 2.5 lbs in my pack!
