Cleansing Mousse

Love it w/ one caveat

Cleanser is great -- really love the thick foam and this works as a great cleanser for my somewhat oily summer skin. Time will tell if it will also work for my dryer winter skin. One star off for packaging -- the pump can be finicky at times and could be improved. Also, the glass bottle isn't practical for the shower. I appreciate the thoughtfulness that goes into Sonsie's packaging but glass + shower does not compute. This means I use something else when I'm cleansing in the shower and save my Sonsie for the PM routine.

My favorite face cleanser!

I got this cleansing mousse as a gift from a friend and I am obsessed with it! My skin is clearer since using it and I love the light foamy consistency that comes from the pump. I bought two more! One for my sink and one for my shower. Would LOVE it if Sonsie made a travel size!

Pleasantly surprised.

It took me a long time to purchase the Sonsie Cleansing Mousse. My entire life I have had a very bad reaction to everything I tried to use for basic skincare. Everything made my skin feel really tight, or really soft then my skin would purge horribly. My mom never taught me about skincare, but now I'm 56, and decided to give the Sonsie a try. My expectation was that it would be too florallly, or make my skin have a horrible reaction. After emailing the Sonsie team with my concerns, I decided to give the product and Pamela a try. When I first opened the product, I could smell something like a rose. But it was not a dominant perfumey scent. The cleanser is very light, and because it is a mousse. You don't have to lather it up. Oddly, the scent was no longer there. It made my face feel soft. Not like silk, but just smooth and clean. It has been about 1 month since I started using the cleansing mousse, my skin did purge, but it was barely noticeable because it happened without a massive pimple, without redness and without swelling. Definitely different, but I am very happy with the cleansing mousse and will purchase it again.
