Fantastic Mic!

Yoooo, this microphone is dope! First off, I got the black one because I didn't want to wait 2-3 weeks for the cream one. I ordered it on 7/7/26 and received it on 7/11/26. I just tested it out and woah is it perfect. High quality metal body. I ordered it with the recommended shock mount. I use it for voice over and man does it do the job. My previous mic was the Baby Bottle by Blue Microphones. That one is great as well, but this was just a step up from that one. The noise floor is better with the DA 87SE, in my opinion. I think I'm going to get the cream colored one for my guitar. Love it!

After a few Days This Started Sounding Great

Maybe we had some moisture on the capsule during shipping or something like that but at first i though something was wrong with the mic, It sounded sstrange for a day or two, it has a almost hollow and unusual sound. After a few days it started to sound great. We have never see anything like this before and we own loads of microphones from cheap to expensive. At this point the mic is sounding great, This is now my favorite voice over microphone, if you add a little eq to boost ( if it sounds a bit too dark for you) boost high end by a few db and and this thing sound really nice. These days i mainly work with voice over and not really music anymore but this is a great mic for spiking into so if your a podcaster, content creator or even voice actor you will probably love this mic

Great Mic

I did a shootout with my TLM103 and the Dachman 87se had better detail and I prefer using the Dachman , I am thinking about getting the Dachman 67 next
