Stellar
I was quite curious about this one, as I've not used a real 666 before and to my knowledge there is no other plugin out there that emulates it. Being a hybrid-opto, I've let it replace my outboard LA2A clone as well as my LA2A plugins on a couple of projects lately, and I've been mightily impressed by the tone and movement of the MHB Red. Very musical compression, and the THD tube saturation sounds fantastic. Easy to dial in the result you're after, and if ever lost there are amazing presets to choose from. This might just be my go-to compressor now for vocals, at least for vocals that require saturation. The release times are fast and slow enough to fit most BPM, so I imagine it can be used on a wide array of songs and genres. Wonderful plugin.

This isn't just another compressor
This compressor has color, flavor, vibe and is incredibly useful in my mixes. Kazrog have thought through all the features, of course, and the presets are great starting points, but it's the tone for me. It's warm, and distinct. Give it a try.

Great!
Really nice addition to the Kazrog collection!
I have mainly used the MHB Red as a saturator, perhaps with a little compression, with great success! I have also had great success driving it hard on vocals and drum parallels.
I did not think I needed another compressor, but this one has found a place!
