Iron
I really liked this one, very subtle and musical subtleties between transformer types, overall a very safe musical colour box. I liked it on the drum bus, and even the master. Great took tool to have in the kit. I found it more subtle and sweet than the ssl transformer plugin that was often a go to for this type of thing.

Old Time McIntosh MC275 fashion
I use Kazrog plugins only for listening to my music in my laptops, no mixing, mastering etc.etc. This told, I am the lucky owner since a long time now of my father’s heritage, an amazing 1969 McIntosh MC275, with its monster huge transformers, and the original GE/RCA tubes, burnt for 1/3rd. To possibly partially recreate its warm tone, I purchased Avalon VT747SP and TRUE Iron, both working together in a top notch chain. I am sincerely amazed by the warm recreated sound, of course not exactly as the physical MC275, but very much resembling of its warmth. Then today I downloaded also the KClip 3 demo version, which for sure I’ll purchase very soon, and I’ll use all 3 in chain as well. I also have an amazing Saturation free plugin from a competitor, which enable me to add or reduce the saturation to my liking.. Pals at Kazrog, as we say here in Italy…. BRAVI, BRAVISSIMI !

Serious Glue and Density
I can't fault it. From heavy guitar, to drums, to vocals... It glues, tightens, and lifts anything you throw it on! Especially drums, I don't process drums without it. The transformer element of the True Iron gives it presence and grounds each element into the mix. I do not finish a mix without it!
