The Vantage truly appears to be solid.
I get the pleasure of glassing for Coues deer off my front porch here in AZ. I have been using the Jim White pan head since the late 90’s. It truly was the greatest thing on the market. Well I wore it out. I’ve been shopping for a new pan head and decided to buy the Vantage head. It is amazingly smooth and maintains great control as I glass. The best part I like about it is when I need it to stay still, it stays. For right now it really seems like a high end product. I’ll put it through the wringer this up coming season. I’ll do my best to let you know how it holds up to the abuse.
