Yeah, I know... yet another compressor. BUT - man, this one is REALLY useful and easy to use!... and to be fair, it's a lot more than just a compressor. It's also a super effective saturation and character box and transient shaper. On top of all that, it's really easy to dial in the exact right amount of dynamics control and mojo-injection you're looking for. I particularly love its auto-gain feature - mostly because it actually works! (I'm looking at you Soundtoys Decapitator)... I also love the versatile sounds you can dial up with the variety of compression curves associated with the different compression ratios... up to and including the "Blitz" crush mode. Blitzer can provide the solid transient control of a fast-attack FET-style compressor as well as the smooth leveling utility of an optical topology (think LA2A), and pretty much everything in between. All in all, definitely worth the money - especially with the Audiodeluxe sales prices. Highly recommend!
